Client Work: Smithsonian Gardens
Living in Washington, DC for the past 14 years, I have loved visiting the Smithsonian Institution Museums along the National Mall. Each museum richly exhibits aspects of our common history—natural and cultural.
The Smithsonian Institution also houses an extensive collection of plants. Orchids, perennials, native crops and trees create a collection that, managed by Smithsonian Gardens, invites visitors to learn, relax and enjoy.
I'll be working with the Smithsonian Gardens to photograph their Tree Collection along the National Mall through a collection digitization grant. I'm excited at the opportunity to work with the Institution, learn about trees and develop a collection of photographs for the National Archives.
