How are your prints made?

Our photographic prints are made on archival-quality fine art paper and printed on a printer utilizing 10 different pigment inks. This process produces an outstanding color range made to last for generations. All prints are finished with an invisible matte varnish which adds an extra layer of protection from damaging UV light and small mishaps.

What is a limited edition print?

A limited edition of a particular photograph consists of a set number of prints in a set number of sizes. Once artwork is sold out in each set size, it will no longer be available for purchase.

Limited edition prints are signed, dated and numbered on the back of the print in pencil. A Certificate of Authenticity is included to ensure both the integrity of the edition and the artist's participation in its creation.

What is an open edition print?

Open edition prints are unlimited in size, paper type and number made. Due to this, the print is priced at a lower rate. However, all open edition prints are made using the same process and care as limited edition prints. Each print is signed and dated in pencil on the back (verso).

What are “The Giving Prints?”

The Giving Prints are an opportunity to collect a small piece of artwork for your home while raising funds for charity. Each quarter we will select 6 photographs from our archive for this mission. The prints will be small (4x6, 5x7 or equivalent), signed on the back and priced at $100. 50% of the profit from each sale will be donated to a selected charity.

Is framing available?

Yes. Full service framing is available. We offer 2 options––Black or White hardwood frames with acid-free white mat board.

Once I make my order, when should I expect it to arrive?

When we receive your order, we will email you with an estimated date for delivery. Our goal is to ship prints within 5-7 business days of order placement and greeting cards within 2 business days. Please add 4-6 weeks for delivery with framed orders.

Once shipped, we will send you a tracking number. All card orders will be shipped via USPS Priority mail, print orders will be shipped by FedEx or UPS.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Our store uses the Square credit card processor which accepts all major credit cards.

My artwork was lost or damaged during shipment. What should I do?

Please contact us immediately if your order does not arrive or is damaged during shipment.

When ordering, make sure that your shipping address is up-to-date. If a package is returned to us marked “insufficient address” you, the purchaser, will be responsible for any extra shipping charges for us to resend the package to the correct address.

What is your return policy?

If you are not 100% satisfied, please contact us hlahti@hannelelahti.com. You may opt for a full refund or an exchange up to 10 days after you receive your purchase. You will be responsible for return shipping. Your refund will be credited upon receipt of the undamaged print. If you are exchanging a print, the new print will not be shipped until the original print is returned undamaged.

How do I care for my new artwork?

Unframed prints: While we hope you take your new art directly to your favorite framer, we understand that doesn’t always happen. We recommend storing it in the tube it arrived in or flat in a drawer away from direct sun, heat and humidity until you are ready to add it to your wall.
